Noon at Neyland. I'm captaining Faizon Brandon.
He's thrown six touchdowns and run for three, and he still hasn't thrown a pick. Tennessee is scoring 47 a game. Brandon is $9,200 in the flex, $1,600 under Arch, and he's been the better fantasy quarterback. The captain button makes him $13,800. I'll pay that.
Arch has the name and 664 passing yards. He also has two picks, no rushing scores, and a $10,800 flex price before you even think about captaining him. I like him next to Bishop. I don't like making him the captain just because the card says Manning.
Bishop is the other captain I'll use. 286 yards and four touchdowns on the ground, and he's catching a couple on top of it. $9,000 flex. If I want the goal line instead of the quarterback, it's him.
Hollywood Smothers got the news we needed. Thursday he was still questionable. Pete Thamel said Friday night that Texas moved him up to probable. 198 rushing yards, two scores, and a receiving touchdown on eight catches. $8,400. If that probable tag is still sitting there at lock, he's in my flex. If it comes off, I'm not guessing.
Cam Coleman is the Texas receiver. Eleven catches, four touchdowns. That's the pair with Arch. Mike Matthews is the deep one on the other side, 189 yards and a 57-yard catch, and he's only $7,600. Daune Morris is how you pay both of them. He's at 8 yards a carry behind Bishop and the flex is $6,400.
Ryan Wingo has the targets, thirteen catches and two scores. He's fine. He's not the first button. Braylon Staley has two touchdowns on seven catches at $5,600, which is a bring-back, not a plan. Raleek Brown has the carries and not much else. Emmett Mosley is getting targets and not getting in the end zone.
Javin Gordon is questionable and hasn't scored. Leave him. Ethan Davis and Joakim Dodson are out.
If I need a kicker, Gianni Spetic has been the better one. Cooper Ranvier if I'm living off Tennessee points.
