Tuesday's Madden showdown on DraftKings is a single game, NYJ @ TB, with a $50,000 cap and a captain slot that scores 1.5x points at 1.5x salary. The slate locks Tue 10/27 at 2:00 p.m. ET (11:00 a.m. PT).
Breece Hall of NYJ tops our model's ranking at $10,200, with a ceiling of 36.6 against a DraftKings average of 19.2. That ceiling is the highest on the board by a wide margin, and it is the main reason he sits in the captain slot of our top lineup at $15,300. Baker Mayfield of TB follows at $9,800 with a 30.6 ceiling and a 16.2 average. Geno Smith of NYJ is next among the quarterbacks at $9,600, with a ceiling of 27.7 and an average of 14.7.
The best value on the sheet is Adonai Mitchell of NYJ at $6,600. His 29.7 ceiling is close to Mayfield's despite a much lower salary, and his DraftKings average is 12.2. Cade Otton of TB at $6,800 has a ceiling of 20.5, and Bucky Irving of TB at $9,400 offers a 21.1 ceiling at a price below the other top TB skill players.
The crowd is likely to gather around the quarterbacks and Hall. Mayfield projects at 68% ownership, Smith at 54% and Hall at 48%. Chris Godwin Jr. also projects at 48%. Mitchell is only 24% owned despite his ceiling, and Irving is at 29%, so both offer a way to separate from the field.
Our model's top lineup uses $49,900 of the $50,000 cap. It has CPT Breece Hall at $15,300, with Baker Mayfield at $9,800, Geno Smith at $9,600, Kenyon Sadiq at $6,200, Jalen McMillan at $4,600 and Omar Cooper Jr. at $4,400 in the FLEX spots. It pairs two high-owned quarterbacks with cheaper pieces to fit under the cap.
