Wednesday's DraftKings slate is a single-game showdown, NO @ NE, and it locks at 2:00 p.m. ET (11:00 a.m. PT) on Wed 10/28. The captain slot scores 1.5x points at 1.5x salary, and lineups run against a $50,000 cap.
Our model's top-ranked play is Travis Etienne Jr. (NO) at $9,200, with a ceiling of 34.8 against a DraftKings average of 18.2. Drake Maye (NE) is right behind at $10,800 with a 34.0 ceiling and an 18.0 average. Tyler Shough (NO) costs $9,600 and tops out at 28.3, a step down in upside for a similar price. Juwan Johnson (NO) at $7,600 carries a 25.9 ceiling, and A.J. Brown (NE) at $10,200 has a 22.7 ceiling, the lowest of the premium group relative to cost.
The value end of the board is where the leverage sits. Devaughn Vele (NO) is $4,800 with a 31.9 ceiling, far above his 6.9 DraftKings average, and DeMario Douglas (NE) is $4,400 with a 30.9 ceiling against a 6.2 average. Both give you a shot at premium-level scoring for a fraction of the salary. Jordyn Tyson (NO) at $6,200 has a 19.6 ceiling and a 9.3 average, a steadier mid-tier option.
Ownership is concentrated at the top. Maye is projected at 68%, Shough at 54% and Etienne at 48%, with Brown also at 48%. Vele is projected at just 18% and Douglas at 13%, so they offer the clearest way to separate from the field.
Our model's top lineup uses the full $50,000. It puts Etienne at captain for $13,800, then fills the flex spots with Maye ($10,800), Rhamondre Stevenson ($8,200), Romeo Doubs ($6,600), Tyson ($6,200) and Douglas ($4,400). It pairs the slate's highest-ceiling captain with a low-owned value piece in Douglas.
Lock is Wed 10/28 at 2:00 p.m. ET, so get your lineups set before then.
