Wednesday's 10/28 Madden showdown is a single-game slate, NYG @ CHI, with the usual captain format. The captain slot scores 1.5x points at 1.5x salary, and lineups work under the $50,000 cap. The slate locks at 4:00 p.m. ET (1:00 p.m. PT).
The top spot in our model's ranking belongs to Darnell Mooney of NYG at $5,400. His ceiling of 43.0 is the highest on the board, and it comes with a DraftKings average of 16.0 and projected ownership of just 18%. Behind him, D'Andre Swift (CHI) carries a 33.1 ceiling at $9,200, while Jaxson Dart (NYG) is at 31.1 for $10,200 and Caleb Williams (CHI) at 30.9 for $11,000. All three average between 16.2 and 16.7 on DraftKings, so the quarterbacks cost more for nearly the same average output.
The clearest value play is Kalif Raymond of CHI at $4,200. His DraftKings average is only 7.3, but our model gives him a 32.7 ceiling, the fifth-highest among the top plays, at one of the lowest salaries on the list. Mooney offers a similar profile at $5,400. Luther Burden III (CHI) sits at $7,200 with a 20.0 ceiling and a 10.1 average, a step down in upside but still priced well below the stars.
The crowd is headed toward the big names. Caleb Williams is projected at 68% ownership, Dart at 54% and Swift at 48%. Rome Odunze (CHI) is at 39% and Burden at 31%. Against that, Mooney at 18% and Raymond at 13% are among the least-owned plays on the sheet, and those are the two with the highest ceilings relative to price.
Our model's top lineup uses the full $50,000. It puts D'Andre Swift at captain for $13,800, then fills the FLEX spots with Caleb Williams at $11,000, Cam Skattebo at $8,600, Rome Odunze at $8,000, the Bears at $4,400 and Kalif Raymond at $4,200. The build pairs Swift's projected production with a cheap Raymond to stay under the cap.
Lock is Wednesday 10/28 at 4:00 p.m. ET, so set your lineups before then.
