Monday's DraftKings slate is a single-game showdown, MIL @ TB, with a $50,000 cap and a captain slot that scores 1.5x points at 1.5x salary. Lineups lock Mon 10/26 at 8:00 p.m. ET (5:00 p.m. PT).
Pitching dominates our model's top plays, and Jacob Misiorowski (MIL, SP) sits at the head of the list at $13,000. His ceiling of 43.8 is the highest on the sheet by a wide margin, and his DraftKings average of 25.8 is also the best of the group. Drew Rasmussen (TB, SP) follows at $11,800 with a ceiling of 34.3 and an average of 20.3. Logan Henderson (MIL, SP) is next at $11,000, with a ceiling of 32.8 and an average of 19.4.
Hitters offer less raw upside but cost less. Jackson Chourio (MIL, OF) is $9,400 with a ceiling of 25.4, and Junior Caminero (TB, 3B) is $9,800 with a ceiling of 24.9. Both have DraftKings averages under 10, so they depend on a big game to pay off. Among the cheaper arms, Robert Gasser (MIL, SP) at $10,400 has a ceiling of 23.6 and an average of 13.9.
Value is where our model gets creative. Its top lineup leans on cheap pieces: Cedric Mullins at $5,000, Coleman Crow at $4,000 and Cooper Pratt at $6,000. Those three save enough salary to pay for the expensive captain and still fit a pair of core bats.
The sheet gives no ownership figures, so we can't say where the crowd will land. It does carry several DraftKings status tags worth noting before you build: Shane McClanahan (TB) and Aaron Brooks (TB) are tagged OUT, while Ryan Pepiot (TB), Jon Heasley (TB), Edwin Uceta (TB), Quinn Priester (MIL), Brian Fitzpatrick (MIL) and Angel Zerpa (MIL) are tagged IL.
Our model's top lineup uses $49,900 of the $50,000 cap. It puts Misiorowski at captain for $19,500, then adds Liam Hicks at $7,000, William Contreras at $8,400, Pratt, Mullins and Crow at utility. Lock is Mon 10/26 at 8:00 p.m. ET.
