One game makes up the Wednesday 10/28 showdown slate, MIL @ TB, with a $50,000 salary cap and a captain slot that scores 1.5x points at 1.5x salary. Lock is 8:00 p.m. ET (5:00 p.m. PT).

Our model puts Jacob Misiorowski (MIL, SP) at the top of the board. He costs $12,400 and carries a ceiling of 43.8, the highest of any player on the sheet, with a DraftKings average of 25.8. The next tier is all MIL hitters. Jackson Chourio (OF) is $9,800 with a 33.4 ceiling, Brice Turang (2B) is $9,000 with a 30.1 ceiling, and William Contreras (C) is $8,400 with a 27.3 ceiling. On the TB side, Nick Martinez (SP) is the main piece at $10,400, though his 23.5 ceiling trails the top MIL names.

The value plays come from the lower salary tiers. Christian Yelich (OF) at $7,400 has a 23.6 ceiling, and Garrett Mitchell (OF) at $7,000 has a 21.7 ceiling. Jake Bauers (1B) at $8,000 owns a 25.6 ceiling and a DraftKings average of 8.4, a little above Turang's 9.1 at a lower price. Roster builders should also note the DraftKings status tags: Junior Caminero (TB) is listed DTD, and Shane McClanahan (TB) is listed OUT.

The sheet gives no ownership figures for this slate, so we can't say where the crowd will land. The model's ranking is built on ceiling, and the top-heavy MIL list suggests that is where much of the attention will go.

Our model's top lineup uses all $50,000 of the cap. It puts Misiorowski in the captain slot at $18,600, then fills the UTIL spots with Andrew Vaughn at $4,400, Jonathan Aranda at $7,600, Contreras at $8,400, David Hamilton at $5,600 and Gary Sanchez at $5,400. Paying up for the captain forces cheaper bats around him, which is the core tradeoff of this build.

Lineups lock Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. ET.
