Friday's NASCAR trucks slate is a single-race, $50,000 salary cap contest on DraftKings, and it locks Friday 10/30 at 6:16 p.m. ET (3:16 p.m. PT). The game is listed as Nasca @ Nasca, so every driver on the board comes from the same field.
Kaden Honeycutt tops our model's ranking at $12,500, with a ceiling of 82.3 and a DraftKings average of 46.6. Only Layne Riggs costs more, at $13,000, and his ceiling of 65.4 sits well below Honeycutt's, though his DraftKings average of 51.0 is the highest of any driver listed. Sammy Smith is the other headline name at $9,000, with a 74.7 ceiling and a 47.6 average. That is nearly the same average as Honeycutt for a much lower salary.
The value tier starts with William Sawalich at $8,800, who carries a 67.8 ceiling, the third-highest of our top plays. Tristan McKee at $8,000 has a ceiling of 51.6, and Tyler Ankrum at $7,700 checks in at 49.1. Ty Majeski at $9,500 and Christian Eckes at $10,500 round out the ranking with ceilings of 51.8 and 48.3, so both cost more than the cheaper options without a clear ceiling advantage.
The fact sheet does not include ownership figures for this slate, so we can't say where the crowd is headed.
Our model's top lineup spends $49,300 of the $50,000 cap. It pairs Honeycutt at $12,500 with Smith at $9,000 and Sawalich at $8,800, then fills the back end with Justin Haley at $6,700, Brenden Queen at $6,600 and Spencer Boyd at $5,700. That build puts the premium money into the three highest-ceiling plays and leaves the rest of the roster at modest prices.
Lock arrives Friday 10/30 at 6:16 p.m. ET, so get your lineups set before then.
