Saturday's DraftKings turbo slate is a two-game NBA card: WAS @ CHI and SAS @ DAL. Lock is 8:00 p.m. ET (5:00 p.m. PT), and the $50,000 cap means the pricing decisions come early.
At the top of our model's ranking sit Josh Giddey of CHI at $8,400 and Anthony Davis of WAS at $8,700. Giddey carries a ceiling of 78.4 and a DraftKings average of 38.8, while Davis shows a 77.2 ceiling and a 43.1 average. Matas Buzelis of CHI is the next tier down at $6,500, with a 63.9 ceiling and a 30.9 average. Those three account for most of the pricey upside our model likes.
The value end of the pool is where the ranking gets interesting. Will Riley of WAS costs $4,400 and carries a 53.9 ceiling, though his DraftKings average is only 2.8, so the case rests on the ceiling rather than a track record. Bub Carrington of WAS at $4,000 has a 44.1 ceiling and a 12.1 average, and Tre Jones of CHI at $4,800 has a 49.4 ceiling and a 24.4 average. At the bottom of the board, Moussa Cisse of DAL at $3,500 has a 38.6 ceiling and Anthony Gill of WAS at $3,000 has a 33.5 ceiling.
Several names carry the OUT tag on DraftKings, including Cooper Flagg, Kyrie Irving, Santi Aldama and Dereck Lively II of DAL, along with AJ Dybantsa and Tristan Vukcevic of WAS, Nic Claxton of CHI and Tobias Harris of SAS. We have no ownership figures for this slate, so we won't guess where the crowd lands.
Our model's top lineup uses $48,100 of the $50,000 cap. It runs Giddey at PG, Riley at SG, Buzelis at SF, Leonard Miller at PF for $5,000, Victor Wembanyama at C for $10,700, Carrington at G, Bilal Coulibaly at F for $5,000 and Justin Champagnie at UTIL for $4,100. Lock is 8:00 p.m. ET, so get your lineups set before then.
