Monday's two-game NBA turbo slate has CHI @ BOS and DAL @ MIA, with a $50,000 cap on DraftKings classic. Lock is 7:30 p.m. ET (4:30 p.m. PT), so there is only a short window to get lineups settled.
Three players stand out at the top of our model's rankings. Jayson Tatum (BOS) has the highest ceiling of the group at 77.5, at $9,500, with a DraftKings average of 49.6. Giannis Antetokounmpo (MIA) is next at $9,900, with a 75.1 ceiling and a 45.3 average. Paul George (BOS) is the most interesting of the three because of his price: at $6,800 he carries a 72.4 ceiling and a 46.3 average, a ceiling within five points of Tatum's at a much lower salary. Cooper Flagg (DAL) is priced at $8,800 with a 55.1 ceiling and a 42.3 average, but he carries a Q tag from DraftKings.
The value side starts with Davion Mitchell (MIA) at $5,400, who has a 45.4 ceiling and a 34.8 average. On the CHI side, Caleb Wilson at $7,300 has a 52.4 ceiling and a 40.2 average, Norman Powell at $6,400 has a 40.0 ceiling and a 30.6 average, and Jalen Smith at $5,500 has a 38.1 ceiling and a 29.2 average. Nic Claxton (CHI) is tagged OUT, while Patrick Williams and Noa Essengue (CHI) are tagged Q. On the DAL side, Naji Marshall, Santi Aldama and Dereck Lively II are all tagged OUT.
We don't have ownership figures for this slate, so we can't say where the crowd is heading.
Our model's top lineup uses $49,900 of the $50,000 cap. It runs Tre Jones at PG ($4,500), Powell at SG ($6,400), Tatum at SF ($9,500), Wilson at PF ($7,300), Neemias Queta at C ($4,700), Mitchell at G ($5,400), George at F ($6,800) and Daniel Gafford at UTIL ($5,300).
Lock is Monday at 7:30 p.m. ET.
