Tuesday's NBA slate on DraftKings is a single game, POR @ LAL, played in the captain format where the captain slot scores 1.5x points at 1.5x salary under a $50,000 cap. The slate locks Wed 10/28 at 12:19 a.m. ET (9:19 p.m. PT).
Luka Doncic (LAL) tops our model's board at $13,200, with a ceiling of 38.7 and a DraftKings average of 59.0. That is the highest average on the sheet by a wide margin. Next come Deni Avdija (POR) at $9,800 with a 29.7 ceiling and Austin Reaves (LAL) at $10,000 with a 28.6 ceiling. Their DraftKings averages sit at 43.4 for Avdija and 43.6 for Reaves.
The best values sit lower in the salary range. Jrue Holiday (POR) costs $6,000 and shows a 28.6 ceiling, matching Reaves at $4,000 less. Matisse Thybulle (LAL) is the cheapest of the top plays at $3,800, with a ceiling of 25.4. Toumani Camara (POR) at $6,200 and a 23.4 ceiling rounds out the mid-priced options. Four players carry an OUT tag from DraftKings: Cameron Carr (LAL), Adou Thiero (LAL), Chris Youngblood (POR) and Shaedon Sharpe (POR).
Ownership figures are not available for this slate, so we can't say where the crowd will land.
Our model's top lineup uses $49,200 of the $50,000 cap. It puts Doncic in the captain slot at $19,800, then fills the UTIL spots with Ziaire Williams at $4,000, Ja Morant at $8,000, Thybulle at $3,800, Holiday at $6,000 and Donovan Clingan at $7,600. Paying up for Doncic as captain is covered by cheaper picks in Williams, Thybulle and Holiday.
