Tuesday night's DraftKings NBA classic slate has three games: DET @ NYK, SAC @ SAS and POR @ LAL. The salary cap is $50,000, and the slate locks Tuesday 10/27 at 8:00 p.m. ET (5:00 p.m. PT).
At the top of our model's board is Luka Doncic of LAL. He costs $11,300 with a ceiling of 81.9, the highest on the sheet, and a DraftKings average of 52.5. Deni Avdija of POR is next at $7,800, with a ceiling of 73.2 and an average of 39.5. Cade Cunningham of DET rounds out the high-end group at $9,700, a 66.8 ceiling and a 41.4 average. Domantas Sabonis of SAC, at $9,400, carries a 56.5 ceiling and a 41.6 average.
The value plays are where our model finds its leverage. Nique Clifford of SAC costs just $3,900 yet shows a 61.3 ceiling, even though his DraftKings average is only 4.2. Daeqwon Plowden of SAC is $3,200 with a 47.7 ceiling and a 13.7 average. Jrue Holiday of POR sits at $5,000 with a 59.1 ceiling, and Ja Morant of POR is $6,400 with a 49.7 ceiling. Roster spots may open up on the SAC side, with Maxime Raynaud, Keegan Murray and Dylan Cardwell all carrying OUT tags. On the DET side, Jalen Duren is tagged OUT, while Ausar Thompson and Isaiah Joe are tagged Q. Scoot Henderson of POR is also tagged Q, and Tobias Harris of SAS is tagged OUT.
Ownership figures are not available for this slate, so we can't say where the crowd will land.
Our model's top lineup uses $49,900 of the $50,000 cap. It starts with Doncic at PG, Holiday at SG, Clifford at SF, Avdija at PF and Micah Potter at C for $3,000. Cunningham fills the G spot, Jake LaRavia ($3,500) takes F, and OG Anunoby ($5,700) rounds out the UTIL.
Check the status tags before you finalize, and get your lineups in before the 8:00 p.m. ET lock.
