The Wednesday 10/28 showdown is a single game, SAS @ UTA, and it locks at 9:00 p.m. ET (6:00 p.m. PT). DraftKings uses its captain format here, where the captain slot scores 1.5x points at 1.5x salary, with a $50,000 cap.

At the top of our model's board is Victor Wembanyama of SAS at $12,400, with a ceiling of 59.5 or better among the field's stars at 57.9 and a DraftKings average of 48.8. He is the most expensive player listed, and the average is well above anyone else on the sheet. Dylan Harper is the other SAS name in the top group at $7,200, with a ceiling of 51.2. On the UTA side, our model likes Keyonte George at $8,600 (ceiling 53.5, average 34.2) and Lauri Markkanen at $9,600 (ceiling 54.8, average 31.8). Markkanen carries a Q tag from DraftKings, so check his status before lock.

The value end is where the slate gets interesting. Kyle Filipowski of UTA costs $3,600 and carries a 61.9 ceiling, the highest on our list. Brice Sensabaugh is $2,800 with a 59.5 ceiling. Josh Okogie and Tony Bradley are both $1,000, with ceilings of 23.3 and 21.8. Those two are pure salary relief if you want to spend up elsewhere.

No ownership figures are available for this slate, so we can't say where the crowd is headed.

Our model's top lineup uses $49,800 of the $50,000 cap. It puts Wembanyama at captain for $18,600, then fills the UTIL spots with De'Aaron Fox at $7,600, Ace Bailey at $6,600, Isaiah Collier at $4,800, George at $8,600 and Filipowski at $3,600. Filipowski is the cheap piece that makes the rest of the build fit.

Lock is Wednesday 10/28 at 9:00 p.m. ET.
