Friday's DraftKings classic slate is a turbo with three games: IND @ MIA, LAC @ MIN and HOU @ DAL. The salary cap is $50,000, and the slate locks at 8:00 p.m. ET (5:00 p.m. PT).
At the top of our model's board, Giannis Antetokounmpo (MIA) is the priciest option at $10,500. He also has the highest ceiling on the sheet at 96.7 and a DraftKings average of 50.3. Cooper Flagg (DAL) costs $9,500 with a 76.6 ceiling and a 42.2 average, while Pascal Siakam (IND) sits at $8,000 with a 73.7 ceiling. Bam Adebayo (MIA) at $7,500 and Kyrie Irving (DAL) at $7,400 have ceilings of 55.7 and 55.2, so they are strong mid-priced options. Alperen Sengun (HOU) is $8,200 with a 55.2 ceiling, though he carries a Q tag from DraftKings.
The value plays sit at the minimum end of the board. Cody Williams (MIN) and Kobe Brown (IND) are each $3,000, with ceilings of 37.5 and 37.7. Their DraftKings averages are only 3.4 and 4.9, so these are ceiling bets rather than safe floors, but the salary relief they provide is hard to ignore on a short slate.
Several status tags matter here. Anthony Edwards (MIN), Tyrese Haliburton (IND), Ivica Zubac (IND) and Brandon Ingram (LAC) all carry OUT tags. Andrew Nembhard (IND), Rui Hachimura (LAC) and Naji Marshall (DAL) are tagged Q, along with Sengun. The sheet gives no ownership figures, so we can't say where the crowd will land.
Our model's top lineup uses $49,800 of the $50,000 cap. It runs Fred VanVleet at PG ($6,200), Pelle Larsson at SG ($4,500), Cooper Flagg at SF ($9,500), Tari Eason at PF ($5,100), Rudy Gobert at C ($5,500), Walter Clayton Jr. at G ($3,300), Giannis Antetokounmpo at F ($10,500) and Jonathan Kuminga at UTIL ($5,200).
Lock arrives Friday at 8:00 p.m. ET, so get your lineups in before then.
