Nine games, all at 1:00. On the main I'd take the cheap quarterback. Here I'm paying for Josh Allen.
The reason is what this board doesn't have. Derrick Henry, CeeDee Lamb, Chris Olave, Tyler Shough and the rest of the afternoon aren't on it. In the early-only you can't save $2,400 at quarterback and spend it on a 4:00 receiver. The best skill players left are Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Amon-Ra St. Brown and Kenneth Walker, and I can afford two of them with Allen. So I'm taking the best quarterback.
Allen is $8,000 and 39.7 a game. He's thrown five touchdowns without an interception, and he's run for four more. The rushing touchdowns are why he averages nearly 40. Bryce Young at $5,600 is still a good play and I'll have some of him. But in nine games, I'd rather be sure about the quarterback than save money there.
If you stack Allen, stack him with Dalton Kincaid. He's $5,500 with 12 catches on 14 targets for 225 yards. The Buffalo receivers are a mess. DJ Moore is questionable with the shoulder and Joe Brady called him a game-time decision, per ESPN's injury report. Keon Coleman is questionable with the ankle. Kincaid's the one that doesn't need a Sunday morning update. He's also the only Bills player besides Allen I'd bother with.
Next to him, Walker at $7,400. He has 47 carries for 290 yards and 16 targets in two games. For the third expensive spot I'd take St. Brown ($7,900) over Smith-Njigba ($8,600). St. Brown's had 27 targets, 19 catches and four touchdowns, and he's $700 cheaper. Smith-Njigba's line is better, 277 yards and four scores on 22 targets. But with Allen, Kincaid and Walker already in, that last $700 is what pays for a real third receiver instead of a punt. I'll take the extra targets and the savings.
After that you're filling with cheap guys. Dalton Schultz at $4,200 goes in the flex if you're already on Kincaid. Nico Collins is out and Schultz has 16 catches on 22 targets. Jonathan Taylor at $7,600 has four rushing touchdowns if you want a second back and can skip St. Brown. Jalen Coker is questionable with the ankle. If he plays, he's $5,500 and he's been Young's best receiver, 16 catches for 204 yards. He's in the flex in my Young builds, not my Allen ones.
Stay away from Pittsburgh's backfield. Rico Dowdle is out and Jaylen Warren is questionable with the shoulder. Jayden Daniels is out in Washington, and I'm not guessing on a cheap Washington quarterback. The Giants lost Jaxson Dart to IR, so don't take a Giants quarterback just because he's cheap.
Defense: Cincinnati at $2,900. They've averaged 14.5, the most on this board.
Allen, Kincaid, Walker, St. Brown. That's the early build.
