I'm captaining Tee Higgins, not Ja'Marr Chase. It's $3,000 of captain salary, and I want that money somewhere else.

Chase is $12,000 in the flex and $18,000 at captain. He's got nine catches for 87 yards and two touchdowns, and a 14.9-point average. Higgins is $9,000 and $13,500 at captain. He's got eight catches for 154 yards. The yards have gone to Higgins so far, and he comes a lot cheaper. I'll still play Chase in the flex in some of these. I'm not building every lineup around paying $18,000 for him.

Joe Burrow is the other captain I trust. 461 yards, three touchdowns and a pick on 66 attempts, 15.7 points a game, $10,600. He was practicing Thursday and wasn't on the injury report the day before ([Kelsey Conway, Sept. 24](https://x.com/KelseyLConway/status/2103180262230380958)). Burrow with both receivers is the obvious build, and it's obvious because it's right.

Chase Brown is $10,200 for 136 yards on 36 carries and eight catches that went nowhere. That's a lot of salary for 3.8 a carry. I'd sooner take Mike Gesicki at $4,400. Five catches, 78 yards and a touchdown.

Pittsburgh is where you save money. Aaron Rodgers has thrown for 408 yards and one touchdown on 79 attempts. $8,800. I won't captain that. Rico Dowdle is out with the toe, and Jaylen Warren is questionable with a shoulder ([Adam Schefter, Sept. 25](https://x.com/AdamSchefter/status/2103572404408635804)). If Warren plays, he's the Steelers piece I want at $9,400. He's got 89 rushing yards and seven catches, and nobody else there is getting touches. If he's out, the Steeler I want is Pat Freiermuth at $4,800. Nine catches, 78 yards, the only Pittsburgh receiving touchdown.

Michael Pittman Jr. is questionable with a foot and he's $7,400. Leave him. DK Metcalf has eight catches for 67 yards at $8,400. Leave him too. Mark Kaboly wrote that Rodgers is taking a liking to Germie Bernard ([Mark Kaboly, Sept. 25](https://x.com/MarkKaboly/status/2103522056138600600)). At $4,000, I'll take that as a dart and nothing more. Andrei Iosivas is out with the thumb. Joe Flacco is a backup, whatever the Giants rumors say.

Evan McPherson is the kicker. $5,400 and a 15.5-point average, best of any kicker on the board. The Bengals defense at $5,000 is my DST, going against an offense that has one passing touchdown in two games.

Bengals receivers, Bengals kicker, Bengals defense. That's the lean. @numeric_dfs
