Justin Jefferson at $17,400. Kyler Murray is back, and I'm clicking the receiver.
Murray cleared the concussion protocol and starts, per ESPN. He was concussed 11 snaps into Week 1 and missed the Chicago game. His $9,600 flex price carries a 0.6 DraftKings average that means nothing. It's one quarter of football. Carson Wentz goes back to the bench, so leave his $8,600 alone.
Jefferson has 11 catches for 147 yards and two touchdowns on 15 targets, and that includes a three-catch day in the rain at Soldier Field. He's the only one on this board I'd call a lock. Murray in the flex next to him is the stack.
Bucky Irving is the other captain. He has 134 rushing yards and a touchdown, and he's caught all 11 of his targets. They've gone for 49 yards, but DraftKings pays a point a catch. $9,400 flex, $14,100 captain. If you want to go against the Jefferson build, that's how.
Jefferson, Murray and Irving leave $13,600 for three. T.J. Hockenson at $5,600 (seven catches, a touchdown), Chase McLaughlin at $4,800 and Ted Hurst III at $3,000 fit with $200 left over.
Aaron Jones is active. Alec Lewis had Kevin O'Connell saying so on [Sept. 25](https://x.com/alec_lewis/status/2103552730241585521). He's got 145 yards on 35 carries. Greg Auman pointed out the same day that Vikings backs have three catches for 15 yards in two games ([Sept. 25](https://x.com/gregauman/status/2103524536188588527)). So at $8,800 Jones needs yards and a touchdown to pay off, and that's all he can give you. I'm light on him.
Baker Mayfield at $10,000 has thrown for 398 yards and one touchdown in two games. He's a flex if Irving is the captain. I'm not captaining him.
Emeka Egbuka ($9,200) and Chris Godwin ($8,200) have 79 and 86 yards. They're both priced like the first read, and neither has been. Jordan Addison has two catches on seven targets at $7,600. I'm leaving all three.
McLaughlin is the kicker. His DraftKings average is 13.5, the best of the kickers and defenses here, and at $4,800 he's cheaper than the Vikings defense. On the Tampa side, Rueben Bain Jr. and Josiah Trotter are both out.
