The DraftKings slate on Sunday 10/25 is a single game, PIT @ NO, with no showdown label attached. It carries a captain slot that scores 1.5x points at 1.5x salary under a $50,000 cap. The slate locks at 9:30 a.m. ET (6:30 a.m. PT).
Chris Olave of NO sits at the top of our model's ranking at $11,200, with a ceiling of 38.8 and a DraftKings average of 20.3. Tyler Shough, also NO, costs $9,800 and brings a ceiling of 34.3 against a 20.5 average, the best average of the group. On the PIT side, Jaylen Warren is $10,400 with a 36.3 ceiling and an 18.3 average, while Aaron Rodgers is $9,000 with a 27.5 ceiling and a 17.5 average.
The cheaper end offers real upside. Germie Bernard of PIT costs $6,800 and carries a 24.7 ceiling, though his 8.9 average shows how much of that is spike potential. Juwan Johnson of NO is $6,400 with a 22.6 ceiling and an 11.1 average, and Devaughn Vele of NO is $7,200 with a 22.4 ceiling and an 11.6 average. DK Metcalf of PIT, at $9,400, has a 24.3 ceiling against a 12.0 average, so his price asks a lot of the ceiling.
Ownership figures were not available for this slate, so we can't say where the crowd will land. The status tags are worth checking before you build. Jordyn Tyson of NO and Travis Etienne Jr. of NO carry IR tags, and Drew Allar, Will Howard, Ben Skowronek and Eli Heidenreich of PIT are tagged OUT, along with Zach Wilson and Mason Tipton of NO.
Our model's top lineup uses the full $50,000. It puts Olave in the captain slot at $16,800, then adds Shough at $9,800, Daniel Carlson at $4,600, Warren at $10,400, Oscar Delp at $1,600 and Bernard at $6,800. Delp's $1,600 price is what makes room for the expensive core.
