Matt Boldy (MIN) follows at $10,400 with a 25.5 ceiling and a 15.7 average. Mikhail Sergachev (UTA) is the most interesting of the top group, since his 25.4 ceiling comes at $8,000, well below the two MIN forwards. Quinn Hughes (MIN) sits at $8,800 with a 23.6 ceiling.
Some of the pricier names offer less for the money. Dylan Guenther (UTA) costs $9,400 for a 22.1 ceiling, and Karel Vejmelka (UTA) costs $9,600 with a ceiling of only 13.7. Jesper Wallstedt (MIN) is $9,800 with a 22.9 ceiling and a 13.3 average.
On value, Nick Schmaltz (UTA) at $7,800 carries an 18.6 ceiling and a 12.4 average, matching Hughes's average at a lower salary. Sergachev at $8,000 is the other efficient price. Ownership figures are not available for this slate, so we can't say where the crowd will land.
Several players come with DraftKings status tags. Filip Gustavsson, Brock Faber, Marcus Foligno and Nick Foligno of MIN carry IR tags, as do Michael Carcone and Maveric Lamoureux of UTA. John Marino (UTA) is tagged OUT.
Our model's top lineup uses $48,800 of the $50,000 cap. It puts Danila Yurov in the captain slot at $7,200, a cheaper way to hold the 1.5x multiplier. The FLEX spots go to Kaprizov ($10,800), Sergachev ($8,000), Hughes ($8,800), Olli Maatta ($3,600) and Boldy ($10,400). The $3,600 price on Maatta is what makes the stack of expensive MIN forwards fit under the cap.
