Thursday's DraftKings turbo slate has four games: MTL @ DAL, NYI @ MIN, WSH @ NSH and BOS @ STL. The salary cap is $50,000, and lineups lock Thursday at 8:00 p.m. ET (5:00 p.m. PT).
Our model's top play is Michael DiPietro (BOS) in goal at $7,800, with a ceiling of 28.8 against a DraftKings average of 18.2. Kirill Kaprizov (MIN) is the best skater at $8,800, with a ceiling of 33.9 and an average of 18.4. David Pastrnak (BOS) costs $8,000 with a 30.5 ceiling.
The goalie pool is deep. Jesper Wallstedt (MIN) is $8,200 with a 25.1 ceiling, Joel Hofer (STL) is $7,600 with a 24.4 ceiling, and Ilya Sorokin (NYI) is $7,200 with a 24.0 ceiling.
The standout value is Ryan O'Reilly (NSH) at $5,500, with a 27.0 ceiling and a 13.4 average. Cheap pieces like Boone Jenner at $3,600, Mike Matheson at $3,900 and Jonatan Berggren at $2,500 help our model fit the cap.
Several players carry DraftKings status tags. Nick Suzuki (MTL) is tagged OUT, and Filip Gustavsson (MIN) and Sam Montembeault (MTL) carry IR tags. The sheet gives no ownership figures, so we can't say where the crowd will land.
Our model's top lineup uses all $50,000: Ryan O'Reilly $5,500 and Roope Hintz $5,000 at center; Kaprizov $8,800, Steven Stamkos $6,200 and Jenner $3,600 on the wings; Jakob Chychrun $6,700 and Matheson $3,900 on defense; DiPietro $7,800 in goal; and Berggren $2,500 at UTIL. Lock is Thursday at 8:00 p.m. ET.
