Saturday's NHL showdown on DraftKings is a one-game slate, CHI @ BOS, and it locks at 1:00 p.m. ET (10:00 a.m. PT). The format uses a captain slot that scores 1.5x points at 1.5x salary, with a $50,000 cap.

Our model's ranking is led by the goalies. Michael DiPietro (BOS) costs $10,800 and carries a ceiling of 28.1, the highest of the group, against a DraftKings average of 18.2. Jeremy Swayman (BOS) is the same price with a ceiling of 21.8 and an average of 13.9. On the Chicago side, Spencer Knight and Arvid Soderblom both cost $9,800, with ceilings of 14.9 and 14.6. Soderblom's DraftKings average is -1.4, a number that tells you how rough his recent outings have been. Among skaters, David Pastrnak (BOS) is $10,400 with a ceiling of 21.9, and Connor Bedard (CHI) is $9,600 with a ceiling of 21.6.

The value plays sit well below the stars. Frederic Brunet (BOS) is only $5,000 but shows a ceiling of 22.4, better than Pastrnak's, against an average of 6.4. Hampus Lindholm (BOS) is $4,800 with a ceiling of 21.3 and an average of 5.4. Both give you upside at a fraction of the star price, which is what lets a lineup afford a pricey captain. Bowen Byram (CHI) carries a DTD tag on DraftKings, so check his status before lock.

The sheet gives no ownership figures for this slate, so we can't say where the crowd will land.

Our model's top lineup spends $48,600 of the $50,000 cap. It captains Swayman at $16,200, then fills the flex spots with Lindholm ($4,800), Marat Khusnutdinov ($3,600), DiPietro ($10,800), Charlie McAvoy ($8,800) and Artyom Levshunov ($4,400). Pairing both Boston goalies is an unusual build, and it leans heavily on BOS.

Set your lineups before the 1:00 p.m. ET lock.
