Friday's main golf slate on DraftKings is a single-event card with a $50,000 salary cap, and it locks at 1:45 p.m. ET (10:45 a.m. PT). Taylor Moore carries an OUT tag, so he is off the board.

Benjamin James is the headline play. At $10,700 he is the most expensive name in our model's top group, but his ceiling of 141.1 is far above anyone else listed, and his DraftKings average sits at 83.3. That is the best average in the group, so the price comes with real upside.

Behind him, the numbers are tighter. Kevin Roy at $8,700 has a ceiling of 106.3 and an average of 67.9. Sudarshan Yellamaraju at $8,400 tops out at 100.7 with an average of 64.4. Jordan L. Smith ($9,200, ceiling 97.7) and David Ford ($8,800, ceiling 97.6) round out the mid-priced options, with averages of 66.4 and 65.0.

The value end is where this slate gets interesting. Paul Peterson at $6,700 carries a ceiling of 92.7 and a DraftKings average of 61.2, which is strong production for the price. Steven Fisk at $7,900 offers a ceiling of 95.9. Kensei Hirata at $6,100 is the cheapest name in our model's ranking, though his ceiling of 64.4 is modest, so he is more of a salary-saver than a difference-maker.

Our fact sheet does not include ownership projections for this slate, so we will not guess where the crowd is headed.

Our model's top lineup uses $49,800 of the $50,000 cap. It pairs Benjamin James ($10,700) with Rico Hoey ($9,100), Trace Crowe ($8,500) and Sudarshan Yellamaraju ($8,400), then fills out the build with Paul Peterson ($6,700) and Jeremy Paul ($6,400). It is a top-heavy construction that leans on James and two value pieces to make the numbers work.

Set your lineups before the 1:45 p.m. ET lock.
