The Saturday 10/31 golf showdown is a one-game slate on DraftKings with a $50,000 salary cap and a captain slot that scores 1.5x points at 1.5x salary. Lock is 1:18 p.m. ET (10:18 a.m. PT).
Doug Ghim sets the pace in our model's ranking. At $9,800, he carries a ceiling of 128.2 and a DraftKings average of 74.2, both the highest of the eight players on our board. Mackenzie Hughes is the next-most expensive of the group at $8,000, with a 92.9 ceiling and a 62.9 average. Andrew Novak costs the most at $10,400, yet his 91.4 ceiling sits below Hughes and far below Ghim, so the price asks a lot.
The value plays sit lower on the salary scale. Sudarshan Yellamaraju at $6,200 has a ceiling of 96.3 and a 64.4 average, a strong return for the price. Matthieu Pavon at $6,600 offers a 71.8 ceiling and a 54.5 average, and Kensei Hirata at $6,800 has a 63.0 ceiling and a 43.7 average. Adrien Dumont De Chassart rounds out the mid-tier at $7,400, with an 82.7 ceiling and a 56.6 average.
The fact sheet does not include ownership figures for this slate, so we will not guess where the crowd is headed.
Our model's top lineup spends $48,500 of the $50,000 cap. It puts Max Greyserman in the captain slot at $11,700, a $7,800 player whose 86.9 ceiling and 57.4 average earn the 1.5x treatment. Around him, our model uses Ghim at $9,800, Pavon at $6,600, Yellamaraju at $6,200, Hirata at $6,800 and Dumont De Chassart at $7,400. The build pairs one pricey ceiling play in Ghim with four cheaper options, and it leaves a little room under the cap.
